A Why-To and a How-To: Virtual Conferences in the COVID-19 Era
March 19, 1 to 2 pm Eastern
A Leading Learning Webinar hosted by Tagoras
This Webinar has already taken place, but you can access the recording and other materials.
With the emergence of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), many organizations are having to re-think their face-to-face event plans. In this Webinar, we’ll make the case for virtual conferences, including longstanding benefits like lower cost and greater reach, as well as more timely drivers like COVID-19 and climate change.
We’ll also share how, with a lean team and budget, we’ve planned and run our multiday online conference, Learning • Technology • Design, the past four years. We’ll cover the more DIY technologies we’ve used, as well as identify fuller-service, purpose-built technology alternatives.
We’ll reserve ample time for Q&A, so come with topics you’d like to explore. And, if you’ve held online events, please come ready to share your insights and lessons learned.
Jeff Cobb and Celisa Steele, co-founders of Tagoras and Leading Learning and co-hosts of the virtual conference Learning • Technology • Design, will lead this session.
