In this Stream of Conference™ video, I walk through some basics on how to use Feedly, one of the tools on Jane Hart’s annual list of Top 100 (now 300!) Tools for Learning. (Jane’s post about trends the tools suggest is also featured as our most recent – and final – Emphatically Recommended Reading™ for the Leading Learning Symposium.)
Curation is an important theme at the symposium because it is, in our opinion, an essential skill and habit for anyone who wants to be a successful learning leader. Only by staying on top of current and emerging trends in your field can you hope to have the insight necessary for creating and facilitating the learning your audience needs. If you do not already have an approach to tracking articles and blog posts relevant to your field or industry, Feedly may be just the ticket. So, check out the video, and share any thoughts you have in the comments area.
Also, stay tuned: my plan is for this to be the first in a number of videos about the topic of curation.
The Stream of Conference™ video series (SoC), a collection of brief, informal videos that provides content related to the Leading Learning Symposium. You can access other Stream of Conference videos at: https://leadinglearning.com/tag/stream-of-conference.
